America's Hero, Louis Green awakens from a 28-day coma in a hospital in Omaha, Nebraska after barely surviving an attempted murder on his life. In his quest to discover the truth, Louis learns if his catastrophes in "The Contrary" were a dream or reality. His investigation is deterred by numerous complications: from his brother-in-law being murdered to the mysterious disappearance of his son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. Fearful of losing his life, Louis enters the Witness Protection Program. He is being hunted by Bravta, the Russian mob, in retaliation for Louis disrupting their evil master plans. Louis is involved in an unexpected love interest which eventually leads to his forceful abduction.
