Elaine Laird Coleman is an award winning author, and a sixth generation Texan. She has been writing since her elementary years making up stories and writing papers for school. Elaine graduated from Hamlin High School before getting married and raising a family. She was the editor of the Rising Star Newspaper for 5 years and she has published 7 books from comedy to ghost stories to biographies a western and now a romance. She is the owner/operator of a snack bar at the local cattle auction where she gathers lots of ideas. Once Elaine and her husband moved to her historical family farm in Winters, Texas, she has kept her eyes and ears open for new ideas and new projects.
