Sister Marie Coleman was born in St. Marys, Kan., and raised from the time she was 18 months old until she was 14 at St. Joseph Home in Abilene, Kan. In 1940, she entered the Sisters of St. Joseph of Concordia, and this year (2010) celebrates her 70th anniversary as a member of the religious congregation. She lives at the sisters' Motherhouse in Concordia, Kan.
