Work it several times before threading up the film.The first and most important thing for the amateur to bear in mind is that the light which serves to impress the photo graphic image upon the sensitive film in a small fraction of a second when it comes through the lens, can destroy the film as quickly as it makes the picture. Until it has been developed and fixed, the film must never be exposed to white light for even a fraction Of a second (this includes gaslight, lamplight, or it will be ruined.
