The launch of the author's most recent book, Sex Goblin , was held at Eckhaus Latta--a designer brand based in New York. The author, Lauren Cook, has a cult following on social media; he first became known for his account on Tumblr, and has amassed a following of thousands on Instagram (where he can be found at @cow_eye_lashes). The author is a naturalist, and his affinity for the natural world surfaces throughout I Love Shopping. Author's most recent book, Sex Goblin , received coverage in New York Magazine , PAPER , Frieze , DIRT , The Whitney Review , and other publications.
