MICHAEL W. COOK is a military veteran and father to two sons. He is the author of Are You Struggling to Keep from Drowning, a book about resilience, mental health, and emotional intelligence, Wrestling Dad, a book for parents and coaches new to the sport of high school wrestling, and Three Hundred and One Desert Haikus. He grew up in southeast Missouri with a deep passion for reading and learning. He holds an undergraduate degree in English from Chaminade University of Honolulu and graduate degrees in Management, Information Technology, and Engineering Management. He considers himself a life-long learner through both formal and informal education, which has been major contributors to his success in achieving his goals. In his spare time, he still enjoys reading, watching sports, and pursuing professional development opportunities.
