Juan Carlos has his whole life ahead of him. He's planning his own business - everything he's ever hoped for is finally falling into place. But on the night of Palm Sunday, he vanishes. The police receive a telephone call reporting an accident and find him dead in his car in a drainage ditch. Conflicting facts emerge as the reason for his death twists and turns. His family believe he was murdered and his partner starts an investigation. As he digs deeper, everyone becomes a suspect - including the local police. Caught in a myriad of corruption, can the truth be revealed into Juan's death or will he be just another statistic of the corrupt legal system in Mexico? On the eve of the funeral, his partner receives threats to his life.
