Celeste Cortright grew up in Connecticut, USA, and now works as a design director when she's not writing children's books for Barefoot! She and her partner live in Boston, Massachusetts, USA with their cat. Sophie Fatus is a full-time artist who is known for her exuberant illustrations. She was born in Paris into a family of artists and now lives in Florence with her partner and two cats.
