Collection of 18 papers analysing the rule of the South Korean president during the period 1988-1993. Roh took a large part in the democratisation of South Korea and conciliation with North Korea and other Communist neighbours. Includes texts of several important primary documents. The editor is senior fellow in the Department of International Relations at the Australian National University.
