Lisa Anne Cullen is an artist, illustrator, and author. She is a member of the National Association of Women Artists (NY & SC), Seacoast Artists Guild, and South Carolina Writers Association. She holds an MFA in writing and pairs this passion with her love of illustration, art, photography, and film. Cullen is also an instructor for the Pat Conroy Literary Center's Camp Conroy Build-A-Book summer camp and Beaufort Middle School's River of Words program. She finds pure joy in connecting with the natural world as inspiration for her artistry and teachings. Her most recent author/illustrated picture book folktales Little Orange Honey Hood: A Carolina Folktale and Three Wild Pigs: A Carolina Folktale are published through the University of South Carolina Press/Young Palmetto Books.
