Brenda Tyson Davis is a retired property manager. She has lived in New Your City, Anderson SC, St. Louis MO, and Tillicum WA. In North Carolina, her work took her to live in Durham (twice), Winston Salem,, Asheville, Greensboro, and Charlotte, After becoming the wife of Deacon David H. Davis, they moved to Lumberton. NC. Brenda launched community centers, and after school programs in NC, and SC. She trained as a Parent Involvement Coordinator @ Greensboro college, for Head-Start in Gastonia NC.

She created a Children's cultural enrichment center in Gastonia NC. As a property manager she also performed duties as a community outreach worker to help children and adults prepare for a better life through education opportunities. Brenda began her studies at NYC University, and College of New Rochelle NY. Pierce County College in Washington State. Her job required relocation almost every two to three years, She became a licensed Minister in 2006 and Ordained in 2009. David and Brenda are the founders of "FirstLight Ministries" (An inspirational writing ministry).
