Stranded on Mars, Earthman Sinbad was thought to be the Chosen One spoken of inMartian prophecy. Imprisoned by the evil Emperor Akdhar and forced to fight in the arena,Sinbad was rescued by a small group of rebels led by the woman-warrior Qani. Stumbling acrossa family of former slaves, Sinbad and the others learned that the rightful Emperor of Mars,Prince Muqari, was being held captive by a Martian War Cult. Using a map provided by theslaves, Sinbad, Qani and the warrior Kar-Tyr, last of the Kurwani, tracked down the cult, battlingits massive god-statue. When the statue was destroyed, the boy-Prince Muqari was released fromwithin. Commandeering a forbidden ship from the cult, Sinbad and the others venture forth,planning to end the reign of Emperor Akdhar and see Prince Muqari restored to the throne.
