Author Gina Dawson has qualifications in teaching and counselling and spent fifteen years presenting a range of life-skills programs in schools. Her passions are writing books for children and young adults that promote awareness about personal and social issues, along with short stories. Her prize winning stories have been published in multiple anthologies and magazines. When not writing the above, Gina assists people write their memoirs. Aside from writing, Gina enjoys volunteering for writing and Assistance Dog organisations, dog training, walking, reading, architecture and spending time with family and friends.
