Strangled by Wild Geese is the first quilt mystery story in the Quilted Cat Mystery series authored by Laura Day. Isabelle Reed, her neice Tara and Isabelle's fat orange cat George are the main characters in the story. Isabelle is attacked after winning big with the lottery. Tara and George try to solve the mystery of who attacked Isabelle. The second part of the book has 10 quilt projects designed and authored by Rochelle Martin. The quilt projects and instructions feature Isabelle's scrappy quilt along with pillows, tablerunners and a kitchen set using fruit and veggie fabric prints. Four pages of color photos of the quilt projects are in the center of the book.
