Ralph & Lahni have been long time popular speakers at International Feng Shui and Astrological conferences, and authors of numerous books on environmental design. Their first book was called "From Gaia with Love, A Guide to Astro Herbology". This was inspired by their interest in the spiritual side of natural healing. Their second book was called, "Feng Shui and the Tango in 12 Easy Lessons", now in its fourth edition. This book was unique in that genre because it integrated Classic Asian Feng Shui with Western Astrology and Geomancy. Next, they wrote "The 10 Minute Herbalist", a collection of short chapters addressing many of today's health challenges. Both 'Tango' and "The 10 Minute Herbalist" kicked off two series of books on those topics. But, until now, Ralph and Lahni had not written any other Astrology books, despite becoming well known for their work in Locational and Health Astrology.
They had written articles and monthly magazine forecasts and their Annual Global Chinese New Year Forecast has become a perennial favorite. Then clients and students begged for them to write books. In 1998, after the passing of the originator, they became the second astrologers of the "Planetary Calendar", which had been published continuously since 1949. That mostly required making the calculations, summations and judgements for each day and putting them in a standardized format. But, with a little encouragement, the publisher agreed to let them include a monthly forecast which gradually led to other minor improvements. In 2012 Ralph and Lahni began producing a monthly TV show called Planetary Calendar, based on those forecasts, featuring Lahni and the then publisher, her daughter, Carole Cherry. Over time, Ralph took over as the second astrologer, recreating the 'Ralph & Lahni show" from their speaking days. The show's format included a second segment on educational astrology topics.
Eventually the format evolved into full episodes dedicated to topical subjects: business, entertainment, politics, chart analysis and more. The expanded monthly forecasts are available on the website, www.SpaceAndTime.com.
