The ultimate in wilderness travel in western Canada This is the story of the author's travels and wildlife observations in all seasons of the year accompanied by his sometimes radical thoughts on wildlife preservation. Driven by a deep, personal sense of curiosity, he paddled hundreds of miles down swift Yukon rivers, the Peace River in northwestern Alberta and several remote lake systems in northern Saskatchewan in pursuit of his studies which focus on the intertwined lives of prey and predators.
