Rebecca Kai Dotlich is the author of over a dozen poetry and picture books, including 'Grumbles from the Forest' (co-authored with Jane Yolen) and 'Lemonade' 'Sun'. She's been a poetry advisor and contributing columnist for 'Creative Classroom' and 'Teaching K-8', gives numerous poetry workshops, including Highlights Founders workshops, and speaks at national conferences, retreats, libraries, and schools to teachers, aspiring writers, and students of all ages. She lives near Indianapolis, Indiana. Karen Dugan has illustrated many books for children, including 'Camping with the President' by Ginger Wadsworth, 'In the Spin of Things' by Rebecca Kai Dotlich, and 'Tea Party Today' by Eileen Spinelli. She lives in North Attleboro, Massachusetts. Rebecca Kai Dotlich's books include 'Lemonade Sun: And Other Summer Poems', an IRA-CBC Children's Choice, and 'Castles: Old Stone Poems', co-written with J. Patrick Lewis. She lives in Carmel, Indiana.
