Sixteen year old Rosalie lives a very difficult life. After her parents get divorced, she moves out of state with her family, far away from her loving father. Rosie becomes very vulnerable and upset because of her broken family, and to her everything is falling apart. She begins her junior year in high school and notices a mysterious boy before she slowly gets to know him. Soon enough they become the best of friends until one night he makes her promise to never fall in love with him, but sadly, she breaks it. Rose then unexpectedly finds out he is hiding a life threatening secret from her and she struggles to find out what exactly it is. But when she finally figures it out is when her whole world comes crashing down. Will Rosalie stay by his side and go through everything with him, or will she simply move on and tell him goodbye?(A heads up: This novel was published when I was only sixteen years old.
