Rob Drummond is a writer, performer and director from Glasgow. His theatre credits include Sixteen , Bullet Catch , Hunter, Post Show, Allotment, Mr Write, Rob Drummond: Wrestling and Top Table . In 2011 Rob wrote, performed and directed his critically acclaimed show Rob Drummond: Wrestling for which he trained as a professional wrestler. His dark comedy Top Table appeared at Oran Mor last year and his modern retelling of the Passion premiered in George Square in October. David Overend is an award winning director and Lecturer in Drama and Theatre at Royal Holloway, University of London. He trained as a director at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and studied at the University of Glasgow. As well as almost 20 years of collaboration with Rob Drummond, his work as a director includes Marco Pantani: The Pirate by Stuart Hepburn (Òran Mór, Glasgow), and the site-specific performance, CauseWay: The Story of the Alloway Suffragettes by Victoria Bianchi (National Trust for Scotland). David researches the performance of mobilities, democracy and wildness, and has been published in several leading journals including Contemporary Theatre Review, New Theatre Quarterly, Cultural Geographies and GeoHumanities.
He lives in Glasgow and commutes too far.
