People around the world are all the same: We all need and want the same things--love, respect, safety, nourishment. Yet, we are all different. This book combines both street photography in the documentary vein with fine art photography to connect people, places, and ideas from around the world. The major theme showcases the unification of humanity while simultaneously extolling the benefits of diversity. A minor theme in the book relates to the cosmos, the invisible, and the unavailability of scientific proof that connections (human and otherwise) exist. The book is comprised of six chapters, each introduced with text. "Time Travel" is fast, chaotic, and disorienting. "The Sameness of Beautiful Contradictory Differences" matches people and ideas from around the world.

"Mirrors" plays a game with the viewer, asking them to notice what is the same and what is different. "The World is My Muse" reiterates the concept of sameness by connecting ideas, people, and places. "Laundry" explores the darker side of humanity and "The Invisible Nature of Things" pushes the images further apart to help the viewer experience the intangible.Collectively we live a universal life.
