ARMT XXXV est le troisième et dernier volume consacré aux débuts du règne de Zimrî-Lîm, le dernier roi de Mari. Il comprend une majorité de textes inédits, mais aussi la reprise de documents déjà édités, suite à des collations ou gr'ce à des compréhensions nouvelles. Les lettres éditées ici sont celles de H'lî-hadun, qui font le lien avec ARMT XXXIV, ainsi que les documents qui émanent de la nouvelle génération de rois m'r yamîna, ceux qui remplacent les chefs bédouins vaincus lors du conflit qui les opposa au roi de Mari. Selon la coutume des publications des textes de Mari, est éditée ici la totalité du dossier à leurs noms, allant donc parfois jusqu'e(tm)à la fin du règne de Zimrî-Lîm. La période étudiée est celle où les armées d'e(tm)EÅ¡nunna montèrent jusqu'aux régions du Tigre qui constituaient le cÅ"ur de l'e(tm)empire du défunt Samsî-Addu, roi d'e(tm)Ã%kallatum. Dans cette période très complexe, l'e(tm)attention est portée principalement sur Yaggih-Addu, le prince yarihéen, un survivant de la première génération des rois bédouins, qui a essayé jusqu'e(tm)au bout, mais en vain, de s'e(tm)opposer à la puissance mariote. ARMT XXXV is the third and final volume devoted to the early reign of Zimrî-Lîm, the last king of Mari. It contains a majority of previously unpublished texts, but also includes the revival of documents already published, following collations or thanks to new understandings.

The letters published here are those of H'lî-hadun, which make the link with ARMT XXXIV, as well as documents from the new generation of m'r yamîna kings, those who replaced the Bedouin chiefs defeated in the conflict between them and the king of Mari. In accordance with the custom of publishing texts from Mari, the entire file in their names is published here, sometimes up to the end of the reign of Zimrî-Lîm. The period under study is that during which the armies of EÅ¡nunna reached the regions of the Tigris which constituted the heart of the empire of the deceased Samsî-Addu, king of Ã%kallatum. In this highly complex period, the focus is mainly on Yaggih-Addu, the Yarihean prince, a survivor of the first generation of Bedouin kings, who tried to the last, but in vain, to oppose the power of Mari. ARMT XXXV ist der dritte und letzte Band, der sich mit der frühen Herrschaft von Zimrî-Lîm, dem letzten König von Mari, befasst. Es enthält überwiegend unveröffentlichte Texte, aber auch die Wiederaufnahme von bereits veröffentlichtem Material, nach weiteren Korrekturlesungen oder dank neuen Verständnisses. Die herausgegebenen Briefe hier sind die von H'lî-hadun, die eine Verbindung zu ARMT XXXIV herstellen, sowie die Dokumente, die von der neuen Generation der m'r yamîna-Könige stammen. Wie bei den Veröffentlichungen der Texte aus Mari üblich, werden herausgegeben hier die gesamte Akte auf ihre Namen, also manchmal bis zum Ende der Zeit von Herrschaft von Zimrî-Lîm reichen.

Der untersuchte Zeitraum ist der, in dem die Armeen EÅ¡nunnas aufsteigen bis in die Regionen am Tigris vordrangen, die das Kerngebiet des Reiches des verstorbenen Samsî-Addu bildeten, darstellte. In dieser sehr komplexen Periode liegt das Hauptaugenmerk hauptsächlich auf Yaggih-Addu, einen Ãoeberlebenden der ersten Generation der Beduinenkönige, der bis zuletzt, aber vergeblich, versuchte sich der Macht der Mariots zu widersetzen.
