The Mult-e-Maths KS2 Strand CD-ROMs have been written in conjunction with BEAM and series consultant Anita Straker to offer creative and flexible software for easy and effective maths teaching. Mult-e-Maths is designed for the interactive whiteboard, but not simply as a 'show' for children to sit back and watch. It ensures that the teacher, not the interactive whiteboard, is in charge of the pace and the content of the lesson. With Mult-e-Maths, teachers can stimulate and motivate all children by using modelling and questioning, and by getting children to predict, manipulate, try things out, explain and discuss. The enjoyment of Mult-e-Maths comes from the activity, discussion and communication that it engenders - the enjoyment that accompanies learning. The six Strands include a wealth of ideas for whole class starter and lesson activities all linked to the NNS Framework objectives. Each CD-ROM ensures continuity, progression and differentiation across Years 3-6.
