It is rare for restauranteurs to part with their favourite recipes. But Kenya's leading gastronome has persuaded many of the country's leading chefs to part with their secrets. The restaurants are described, and the recipes contributed follow. Included are such popular dishes as Parrot's Eye, Prawns Priri Piri, Independence Perch, Palak Chicken, and Dawa. Recipes from thirty-two restaurants are included, the first of its kind ever published in Kenya.
