A mature love story,from an initial meeting between a middle aged Irishwoman and an older English widower who turns out to both materially and emotionally far richer than she could have imagined. Following them through falling in love, first intimacy, getting married and moving to a new life in rural France where they build up an existing farm and a friend enriched life together. Supported by loyal staff and old friends plus his adult daughter, her husband and their delightfully exasperating teenage sons.
