Christmas in Storybrook comes with twinkling lights, holiday traditions, family expectations--and more than a few complications. Meredith Tanner loves her hometown and her shop Shake the Bard. But since returning, she avoids Ford Rawlins, a contractor and carpenter who she used to be close to in high school before she went off to the big city. But Meredith's mom, Lydia, gets Ford to fix Shake the Bard's weathered floorboards. And Meredith and Ford are thrown back together. Meanwhile Lydia is facing changes and memories of her own when someone buys the movie theater and contracts Ford to renovate it. Between holiday mishaps, Christmas in Storybrook might need to revise its rules for Christmas. Rules for a Small Town Christmas is a closed-door small-town romantic comedy about family, community, second chances, and finding love at every stage of life.
