Thirteen and a half Stepping Stones into the Mystery of God is all about trying to make sense of the word "God" and does so through the experiences in school life of three thirteen-and-and-half year old, teenagers. One is Eric who is already quite religious in a sensible sort-of-way and enjoys most of what he has to do with religion at school and through home; the girl is Lucy for whom anything about God is a new experience and is both curious and attracted by it all, and, thirdly, there is George, who is always called Georgie for he answers to nothing else, and he is not really interested in anything to do with religious things but is not seriously put off by them either. Through what they get up to in school life and what they make of their different experiences, they slowly discover in their own very individual ways, something about the meaning and mystery of God.Why not join them as the fourth member of the group (as long as you yourself are about thirteen and half years old or round-about that age as a young-at-heart) and see what sense you can discover in that most extraordinary little word, God, a word so widely used in such a range of different ways and yet quite hard to understand. Quickly make friends with your new acquaintances and enjoy your exploration into the mystery of God with them. Hopefully all four of you will end up a little more aware of the deeper and exciting meaning of our word, God.
