17-year old Max Leavitt isn't excited about spending his summer working at his aunt's cursed hotel. He hears scratching inside the wall of one of the rooms, and finds an enormous metallic spider. When he chases it, he realizes he's slipped back in time to 1986. Time traveling is fun until the guests start dying in horrific ways, and he has to figure out how to get back to 2025-and what to do about the creepy skitters.
