Bear glows with happiness after he first meets energetic Jude and glittering Ansley. But soon Bear finds himself lonesome and bored, by himself in the bedroom. -Tick-tock, - says the clock, and the night-light flickers out. Right before Bear can sink into despair, the two wildly creative children return from school and teach him about the magical world of make-believe. -Close your eyes and let your imagination soar, - Jude explains. -If you could go anywhere, where would you explore?- They are whisked off on an enchanted adventure, and Bear loses sight of what is most important: himself. Ansley and Jude remind him that make-believe is sparked by his own personality and that he should celebrate the things that make him unique. The rhyming story is told by a teddy bear, the beloved main character.
UnBEARably Bored will appeal to adults and children who enjoy books inspired by playtime make-believe worlds, which have a heartfelt message.
