Nicole Fairfield is the passionate founder of Georgia Swim School, a dedicated swim instructor, and a lifelong advocate for water safety. Despite not learning how to swim until the age of 7, Nicole's connection to water has been profound from an early age. At just 3 years old, Nicole experienced a near-drowning incident, but was saved by an aunt. This traumatic event made early swimming lessons difficult, as hesitation toward the water lingered for years. However, Nicole's love of water never wavered. At 13, Nicole became a certified scuba diver, diving deep into the world of aquatic exploration and further solidifying a lifelong passion for water activities. In high school, Nicole earned certification as a lifeguard, a role held ever since, to ensure the safety of others around water. Today, Nicole combines a deep personal understanding of water's challenges with expert-level teaching.
As the owner of Georgia Swim School, Nicole is dedicated to providing swimming lessons for all ages, believing firmly that everyone should have the opportunity to learn this life-saving skill. Alongside teaching, Nicole hosts a popular water safety podcast, sharing knowledge and tips with listeners to encourage safer, more confident interactions with water. With a focus on safety, confidence, and fun, Nicole works to ensure that others feel empowered in the water, no matter their starting point. Through the swim school and podcast, Nicole continues to inspire and teach, shaping the next generation of swimmers and water safety advocates.
