This series of photographic information books concentrates on the daily lives and experiences of children in countries around the world. Each book focuses on a particular child's day: from waking up, through breakfast, going to school, learning, travelling home, playing, and getting ready for bed. Enrique's Day begins just before the cock crows, at half-past six. His first task is to get the chaplas from the bakery, which he loves dipping into his chocolate milk at breakfast time. After breakfast, Enrique walks to the street corner and flags down a motor-taxi to take him to school, passing some of Ayacucho's churches, buildings and shops on the way.
