Steven Falk, author of Six Sigma Tennis, is a certified tennis professional by the U.S. Professional Tennis Association and also is a certified umpire and referee by the United States Tennis Association. He is a former tennis instructor for Stanford Tennis where he applied ISO standards, Six Sigma methodologies, Total Quality Management, the Malcolm Baldrige Award Program and Lockheed Martin Zero Defects practices for the first time to athletics. Falk gained his corporate experience and recognition as a Six Sigma Champion working with organizations such as Carlson Companies, Siemens, General Electric, Lockheed Martin and The Walt Disney Company.
