Michael Fallon lives in Baltimore with his wife, Ruth, and has taught creative writing, composition, and literature at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) for the last 26 years. He was an editor of Puerto del Sol, a founding editor of The Maryland Poetry Review, and president of the Maryland State Poetry and Literary Society. Fallon won fellowships in poetry from the Maryland State Arts Council in 1988 and 2009. His poems have appeared in anthologies and CDs, have been broadcast on public radio, and have been published widely in literary magazines, most recently in The Antietam Review, The American Scholar, The Oyez Review, and the Loch Raven Review. A collection of his poems, "A History of the Color Black," was published by Dolphin-Moon Press in 1991. His recently published chapbook, "Since You Have No Body," won the Plan B Press 2011.
