Duncan Alexander Ferguson is a trained Fine Artist Who lives in Canterbury England, He has lived in many different Countries.His art is based on the Natural world, and feelings and Childhood memories associated with growing up in Mauritius, and South Africa ,Australia, and Papua New Guinea, and London, England. As a child he would spend most of his time swimming in the Coral sea that surrounds Mauritius, and looking at the natural world that surrounded him as a Child, Duncan would feed the different coloured birds ,there would be sounds from the yellow weaver birds on his grandparents veranda with his mother and sister, in later life as a young adult he suffered from mental health illness which he has to the present day, his first Book Duncan has written and illustrated is, The Bird With No Name ,the book is like an autobiography about his life ,the difference is its about a bird. Duncan has written and illustrated the book , Duncan uses his stories that he illustrates with his own art he has lived with schizophrenia for many years ,and has stayed stable, because of the support and love from his Family.
