Mr. Panchito Fontillas graduated with a Bachelor of Elementary Education major in Reading in Elementary Grades in 1991. He finished his Master's of Arts major in Educational Administration in 2001, and Education Specialist in Educational Leadership Major in Curriculum Director in 2017. Mr. Fontillas has local and international experience in teaching Math and Science in both the regular and Gifted and Talented classrooms. He was a presenter at the Conference for the Advancement of Mathematics Teaching and the Texas Association for the Gifted and Talented for several years. He is passionate about finding ways to teach Mathematical concepts to elementary school children in a fun and engaging way. When not teaching or thinking about his lessons, Mr.
Fontillas composes music, writes poems, and paints. He is fascinated by the works of Braque, Picasso, and Van Gogh.
