My voice is a wide-ranging mix of the old masters with today's technology. I am self-taught, beginning my journey in 2000. I am a photographer and digital artist, influenced more by painters than by photographers. I study extensively, wanting to learn and at the same time be an innovator. My art is self-absorbed as well as universal in scope, a series of manipulations and concrete narratives. Mapping the view from my perspective, there is much unexplored territory to be experienced. I am a native of northwest Missouri, growing up in St Joseph, with a wide family influence of music, radio, and television. I wrote poetry before turning to art and was published in many university presses and small press magazines.

I have been fortunate enough to be included in many gallery showings.
