America has always been an international leader when it comes to helping refugees. All nations must work together to address the conditions that cause refugee crises, such as poverty, climate change, civil war, and religious or ethnic persecution. They must also agree on large-scale humanitarian efforts to redevelop destabilized countries and encourage developing economies in Africa, Latin America, and Asia"--.
