John Gallagher, the son of working-class immigrants from Donegal, Ireland, grew up on the other side of the tracks in Bryn Mawr, PA. These two things are the backdrops that formed him and provide the core of this debut poetry collection. Not wishing to be idle this past year, the Executive Recruiter put down his phone and picked up his pen. The result are reflections on the universal feelings of love, loss, and redemption. With a hopeful, Irish heart, he weaves skillful narrative verse meditating on family, friends lost, faith, and our collective American experience. With the longing of a train, he rode into the darkness of this past year in search of light. It is there he found Undaunted Light.John lives in Phoenixville, PA with his wife, Erin, and his children, Sean and Maura.
