Lloyd Gardner has been married to Mary Gardner for over 44 years, has two children and four grandchildren. The author is a former pastor, retired public school teacher, and artist. He pastored several traditional churches over the years but in recent years has been active in the house church movement that is sweeping the nation and the world. Lloyd embraces the vision of a revived body of Christ that will rise up in the love, unity and power of the Holy Spirit. He fellowships with a network of house churches and helps minister in The Father's House, a training center in Monterey, California. Lloyd has retired from teaching and works at real estate and art to supplement his income.
