Now, we are publishing Keith Garebian's first book of poems. Many of these poems have appeared in various publications, including Grain, the Literary Review of Canada, The Antigonish Review, Echo and elsewhere. Thematically, the book deals with Garebian's complex and perplexing origins, the theme of transfiguring love and art, and finally, with Derek Jarman, the brilliant alternative filmmaker. The quality of language, the sensitivity to subject and theme and the ability to move the reader--all qualities which Garebian has demonstrated for so many years--now are exposed in this very accomplished first book of poems.
