DIANE GLANCY is professor emerita at Macalester College. Her 2014-15 books are FORT MARION PRISONERS AND THE TRAUMA OF NATIVE EDUCATION, nonfiction, University of Nebraska Press, and REPORT TO THE DEPATMENT OF THE INTERIOR, poetry, University of New Mexico Press, which won the 2016 Willa Award from Women Writers of the West. She also published three novels, UPRISING OF GOATS, ONE OF US, and IRONIC WITNESS, Wipf & Stock. A new collection of poems, THE COLLECTOR OF BODIES, Concern for Syria and the Middle East, was published by Wipf & Stock in 2016. Among her awards are a 2014 Native Writers Circle of the Americas Lifetime Achievement Award, an American Book Award, and two National Endowment for the Arts Fellowships.
