JEANNE GODFREY is Head of the Academic Writing Centre and Principal Lecturer in Teaching and Learning at the University of Westminster, UK. She has been teaching in the field of English language for over twenty years and has been a Chair of the British Association of Lecturers in English for Academic Purposes. She set up one of the first Academic Writing Centres in a UK University and is now working with lecturers and students in many areas of learning and curriculum development, with particular emphasis on academic writing development.
