Comanche's Wars was crafted to highlight the struggles between American progress and peace. With a dose of imagination, the key characters saw the same defeats and triumphs men and women experienced fighting for their land, cultures, traditions, and ways of life. I understand the dynamics of war; I fought alongside very brave men and women during Operation Iraqi Freedom. This post-war project gave me another opportunity to safely express my unwanted feelings through the eyes of a horse. Writing is truly healing.
