Dan E. Gordon was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. He was raised in Old Time Pentecost. He was saved, filled with the Holy Spirit, dedicated his life to the Lord and was called to the mission field at the age of 15. He was active in witnessing at his High School, helped start the Your for Christ Club and became known as Deacon Dan.He attended Seattle Pacific University when it was Seattle Pacific College with a major in missions and religion. He supported himself in college and dropped below full-time credit hours whereupon his college education was cut short by an invitation he received from Uncle Sam to come in for a physical. In advanced Army training in missile systems he received a medical discharge for having contacted narcolepsy, a sleep disorder.

Dan started the local Christian Book Store in Hood River, Oregon and eventually went on to pioneer the Bible Cassette ministry with the King James Bible, Alexander Scourby narrating that he secured from the American Bible Society. God greatly blessed this ministry and it defined his ministry goal of "distributing the Word of God in any and all forms by any and all means".Dan has been a worship leader, pastoral assistant, a deacon, held Christian Workers papers and was ordained as a missionary/apostle in 1984.Dan E. Gordon has been a missionary to Japan, Thailand and numerous short trips in China. He now resides in Thailand playing his saxophone.
