Captain Sean Gray, Cobb County (GA) Fire and Emergency Services, is an appointed member to the UL-FSRI Advisory Board. He has been a UL-FSRI Technical Panel member for the Study of Residential Attic Fire Mitigation Tactics Exterior Fire Spread Hazards, and was a participant in the IFSI Cardiovascular Chemical Risks of Modern Firefighting research study. He is currently serving on the UL-FSRI Technical Panel for the Study of the Fire Service Training Environment: Safety, Fidelity, and Exposure. He has a bachelor's degree in fire safety engineering from the University of Cincinnati. He has been published in multiple fire service publications, is an FDIC H.O.T lead instructor, and delivers lectures on evidence-based tactics across the United States. P.
J. Norwood, deputy chief/training officer, East Haven (CT) Fire Department, has served four years with the Connecticut Army National Guard. He is an FDIC instructor, Fire Engineering contributor, Fire Engineering University faculty member, hosts a Fire Engineering Blog talk radio show and is coauthor of the video blog, "The Job." He is an advisory board panel member for UL's Study of Residential Attic Fire Mitigation Tactics and Exterior Fire Spread Hazards on Firefighter Safety. He has lectured across the United States as well as overseas. He is certified to the Instructor II, Officer III, and Paradmedic level. He is author of Dispatch, Handling the Mayday (Fire Engineering Books and Videos, 2012) and coauthor of the Tactical Perspectives DVD series.
