It was a new beginning, at least I thought it would be until I saw him, and in that moment it all came flooding back, especially the fear. It was about six years ago when I was moved from my job with Summerton Publishing in Mead, New York to Darcy Publishing in Clairmont, New York as a reader. I had about two weeks to move from Mead to Clairmont with a lot of traveling in between looking at apartments closest to work. I found that there was one. It was called West Avery apartments.

I liked the way it looked so I signed a lease and I was able to move right in. I needed the work.Clairmont was now my home, whether I wanted it to be or not and I didn't but, work was there. It all came at a time when I lost both my parents with my four sisters and three brothers in a fatal car accident on their way back from a shopping trip.they, my sisters and brothers were all new to our home. They were between the ages of five and twelve. My parents were also foster parents to many children throughout the years giving as much love to all of us. And, now I'm alone having to prepare for nine funerals.

at least I thought I was until the neighborhood stepped in and gave a hand to all the arrangements that had to be done. I delayed the move and the first day of work until everything was taken care of and every last detail was completed. I felt I had to be strong throughout everything but, much of the time I was crying still in disbelief that they were gone. I could never imagine my life without my family and now they're gone, and I couldn't understand why.
