This channelling by Isabelle Kingston to me in 1990 was a formidable commission. Since 1990 various mediums have mentioned this project in similar terms. Most significantly Michael in 1989 (through Bob Armstrong) stipulated that the book must be relevant for this age. CROP CIRCLES: The catalyst for this book was the crop circle phenomenon at the close of the twentieth century. Although these strange occurrences had been recorded since the seventeenth century, their sudden florescence in earnest in 1990 coincided with the realisation by a small group of investigators that this was not a mere freak weather phenomenon, but something much more significant. It appeared to be a sophisticated communication process, the product of a non-human Intelligence of a high order. Mandalic symbolism seemed to be used, but the complex pictograms seemed ancient and obscure. Fortunately, when an Inspector of Ancient Monuments, I had made a special study of prehistoric symbolism, lecturing on it at the London Institute of Archaeology.

I recognised symbols familiar to ancient man about the nature of Deity, the spiritual character of the Cosmos and the role of mankind. The crop circle phenomenon really is about the 'meaning of life and everything', now conveyed by a Cosmic Intelligence, in simplistic terms 'God'.
