I have lived the American Dream. I am the son of a goat herder, sheep shearer, and coyote trapper; a "free range" kid born into the poverty of rural America in the 1940s.This book covers my early years and early career. It describes how I built the foundation that allowed me to become a global business consultant, traveling to, and working in more than 50 countries. Along the way, I have influenced major technologies including mainframe computers, bank automation, the PC, global telecommunications, and the mobile Internet.
