Doretta Groenendyk , a painter, writer and teacher, lives with her family on a small spot of land in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia. Doretta is the illustrator of the children's book Bounce & Beans & Burnand the author and illustrator of several books, including Hockey Morning Noon and Night, I'm drawing a picture, I'm Writing a Story, Bully 101and Step Outside. Her books Snow for Christmasand Thank You for My Bedboth have been shortlisted for the Lillian Shepherd Memorial Award for Excellence in Illustration.
