50 years ago, I voted for the first time. As a fifth-generation Oregonian, I have always been interested in politics. I've run for office and been elected to the school board. I've worked on many campaigns at all levels. During the 2025 Oregon Legislative Session State Representative Mark Gamba of Milwaukie, Oregon called Oregon taxpayers "petulant children." Do you remember that? I do! That was the start of my faithful sidekick, "The Annoying Child." On July 23, 2025, the day Governor Kotax called for "Emergency Session" of the Oregon Legislature over the Labor Day weekend. To pass a $4.
5 billion transportation bill, a bill which failed to pass during the regular session even though she and her party held the supermajority in the legislature. On the day Queen Kotax announced her special session I started posting my The Annoying Child on Facebook and started sending that post as an email to all 90 legislators. In seven months, I sent over 20,000 emails. Now, that is annoying! And yes, I got responses from legislators. Whenever I walk the offices of the legislators, they know who I am. As I wrote my ramblings and mumblings, they were short and to the point. No more than 3 or 4 sentences. One thing I learned is that legislators don't have time to read long boring letters.
Because I was in tune with the daily policial happenings, I can use my experience in common sense to make my points. The Oregon Freedom Coalition beat back the Transportation Bill. Thanks to the 250,000 plus who signed the referendum petition. QUEEN KOTAX pushed the referendum to the Primary hope there would be a lower turn out. That backfired on her big time with 83% of the voters voting against her! As we write this manuscript, Tina just caved to the DSA over a data center in Salem. You might note the DSA took out State Senator Jeanne Sollman over her support of data centers in the Hillsboro area. QUEEN KOTAXs popularity continues to drop. Let's Make sure it stays that way.
THANK YOU TINA!.
