Awakened from a deep, twelve-year coma, a man is dismayed to find out he is suffering retrograde amnesia which is affecting certain memories, including the memory of who he is and why he was in a coma. A mysterious benefactor has left him an estate and some money with which to start a new life with in the suburbs of Las Cruces, New Mexico. But as he discovers a network of evil lurking in town that he must confront, he can't help but think that parts of his past are coming back to haunt him.
